1966 Rickenbacker 456/12
with 6/12 Converter
used by Sonny DiNunzio
in The Fenways and The Racket Squad
In 1965 "Walk" by The
Fenways was a big hit in Pittsburgh.
By 1967 the band needed a better name, and a hipper look. They
became The Racket Squad.
They appeared numerous times on the local TV show "Come
Alive," and always had cool guitars and wild clothes.
(Back then I didn't understand why their guitar player's name
was "Hop"...)
