1974 Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop at Pittsburgh Guitars

1974 Les Paul Deluxe Goldtop
Very cool vibe, and in very good condition. Features include a nicely aged Goldtop finish, bound rosewood fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, and mini-humbucking pickups. In addition to the expected playwear and finish checking, it has a changed jackplate, changed pots, a headstock repair, and it has been refretted. It has the original tuners, and a couple of them a very slightly bent, tho they work perfectly. And it is missing the pickguard. It weighs in at 9 lbs. 3.5 oz. 2013 Les Paul Traditional at Pittsburgh Guitars

2013 Les Paul Traditional
As part of their 2013 Year of Les Paul celebrations, Gibson revamped the Les Paul Traditional to combine the great sound of their original Standard model with a Grade-AA figured maple top beneath new finishes -- in this case Chicago Blue -- all in high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer. Features include an unchambered back for tone and sustain, a rounded late-’50s neck shape with bound rosewood fingerboard and trapezoid inlays, and two ’57 Classic PAF-style humbucking pickups with chromed covers. It is in excellent overall condition, with some small dings, and some scuff marks and light belt-buckle scratches on the back. 1979 Hardtail Stratocaster at Pittsburgh Guitars

1979 Hardtail Stratocaster
Natural finish with maple fingerboard, non-tremolo bridge, and all original. It's in excellent overall condition, with a couple dings here and there, and some discoloration on the bottom edge of the fingerboard. It has some belt buckle scratches on the back, not through the finish. And there are some matted finish spots, front and back, possibly from laying on a strap. They only show up at certain angles, and did not show up well in the pictures. Price includes the original rectangular plastic Fender case. (picture - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10)

2015 American Standard Stratocaster at Pittsburgh Guitars

1991 Left-Handed American Standard Stratocaster
Olympic White finish with maple fretboard, made in USA. It features 3 single-coil pickups with a 5-way selector switch. It is in very good condition, with some dings and scratches. And there is a spot on the back of the headstock where a sticker was removed. It has a replacement switch, a right-handed tremolo arm, and possibly one replacement pickup cover. 2003 `70s Reissue Stratocaster at Pittsburgh Guitars

2003 `70s Reissue Stratocaster
From Fender's "Classic Series," made in Mexico. It has an ash body in 3-color sunburst finish, and a maple fingerboard. Other features include a large headstock with `70s-style decal, 3 vintage style single coil Strat pickups with Alnico magnets, and vintage "F" style tuning gears. It is in excellent overall condition, with a couple small dings on the back/bottom, and a small impression on the neck. It's missing the backplate. Price includes a hard padded Harmony gig bag. 2014 Fender Coronado II at Pittsburgh Guitars 2014 Coronado II
Sparkling Candy Apple Red finish with a bound rosewood fingerboard with white pearloid block inlays. Features include a semi-hollow maple body with alder center-block, bound F-holes, two Fideli-Tron humbucking pickups, and 3-way switching. This guitar is in near-mint condition, with no dings or scratches, no visible playwear, and the plastic still on the pickguard. It does not have a case! (picture - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6)

1964 Gretsch Country Gentleman at Pittsburgh Guitars

1964 /1965 Gretsch Country Gentleman
This is a one-owner guitar, in amazingly clean condition. The serial number dates to 1964 as do most of the guitar's features. One of the pot codes is dated to the 16th week of 1965. 100% original, it features a Filter'Tron pickup in the bridge, which, according to the info that came with it from the factory, is "to give you perfection in brilliant highs," and a Super'Tron II Jazz pickup in the neck position, likewise "to give the player total performance at all levels." And it has the Gretsch "Action Flow" fret nut for "perfect Fret level playing action." It's very clean, with perfect binding. It has a couple small dings here and there, and some coil-cable marks on the back. There is some wear on the gold plating, and discoloration in a couple spots around the back of the neck, which is not through the finish. Price includes equally-clean original hard case with all of the original paperwork. (picture - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 10)

1967 Le Baye 2 x 4 at Pittsburgh Guitars 1967 Le Baye 2x4
One of only 45 made, this guitar is all original, with the exception of the neck pickup which was rewound by Tom Brantley. The 2x4 is "famous" for having been used by Tommy James & The Shondells (for about 15 minutes), and it features 2 single coil pickups with a 3-way selector switch, and a rosewood fingerboard with pearl inlays. This one is red, and in excellent overall condition, with some lacquer chips on the front, sides, and back. Price includes original hard case. (picture - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5)

1998 Guild Bluesbird
Crimson Transparent finish on a chambered mahogany body with a figured, arched maple top. It features a bound rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, Duncan 59 humbuckers, Grover tuners, and Guild's Chesterfield headstock inlay. It is in excellent overall condition, and weighs in just under 8 lbs. It was a factory second at original point of sale, though this many years later, it is impossible to know what the blemish was. It does have several small dings and light surface scratches. And there are screw holes visible on the bottom from a previously-installed Bigsby. Price includes original hard case. Blonde finish on USA-made, tele-style electric, with a maple neck and fingerboard, vintage style 6-saddle bridge, and two Magnetic Field single coil pickups, with master tone and volume controls. Red tranparent finish, and in excellent-plus condition, with no dings or scratches, and no visible playwear. Based on the classic Hofner Verythin guitar body shape from 1960, this Contemporary Series guitar features a flame maple, semi-hollow body with center block for increased sustain, deeper tones, and less feedback. Other features include a rosewood fingerboard with decorative bar markers, and two Hofner humbuckers with nickel covers. Andat 1.25" deep, it is very thin! Price includes original hard case. A fine example of this hollow-body model, in Vintage Sunburst finish. Key to Descriptions

Before we sell any used instrument, we send it through our repair shop for a complete set up. But because they're used, we've worked out the following descriptions to let you know how used they are. We'll be happy to give you more information via phone or email.

Mint Condition--like new, no wear
Excellent condition
--some play wear, maybe some small dings or light surface scratches
Very good condition
--a few scratches, some dings and/or lacquer chips, but structurally sound, normal play wear
Good condition--structurally sound, has been played a lot, some repairs or cosmetic flaws possible
Fair condition--a well-loved guitar, may have some problems, but we'll describe them as accurately as possible
