1973 Telecaster Custom
Weighing in at a comfortable 7 lbs, 8.5 oz, this is a well-loved guitar. We call it "restored," because it has had some changes made through the years, including the pickguard, neckplate, and tuning gears. The serial number on the changed neckplate is not accurate - the pots date it to 1973. There is some extra routing under the neck pickup, and the mocha finish has numerous dings and finish chips and checks. And it has some belt buckle scratching on the back. 2004 50th Anniversary American Series Stratocaster
2-Color Sunburst on an ash body and in excellent+ condition, with no dings or scratches, and the plastic still on the pickguard and backplate. Features include a maple neck with modern "C" shape, Fender Custom Shop 1954 single coil strat pickups with parchment covers, American 2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with stainless steel saddles, a 1-ply beveled pickguard, and commemorative 50th anniversary neck plate. Price includes original hard vintage tweed case with crushed gold interior and embroidered anniversary patch, hang tags, and case candy. (picture - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7)

2008 American Standard Strat at Pittsburgh Guitars 2004 American Series Strat Left-Handed
3-Color Sunburst finish with rosewood fingerboard and in excellent condition. There is some discoloration on the pickguard from stickers, otherwise she's clean as can be, with the plastic still on the backplate. It appears that the previous owner never even used the tremolo arm. Other features include an alder body, 3-ply parchment pickup, American Strat single coil pickups, chrome hardware, and a commemorative 50th Anniversary of the Strat neckplate. Features include an alder body with nitrocellulose lacquer finish, maple modern "C" shaped neck, vintage-style single-coil Alnico magnet pickups with 5-way switching, and vintage-style hardware. 2014 Fender Classic Series `50s Strat at Pittsburgh Guitars 2014 Classic Series`50s Strat
Fiesta Red finish and very clean! With specifications and features from the `50s, this guitar has a tinted neck with maple fingerboard, three single coil pickups with staggered alnico magnet pole pieces, and a single ply pickguard and aged plastic parts. 2013 Fender Coronado at Pittsburgh Guitars 2014 Coronado II
Newly released in 2014, the Coronado II features include a semi-hollow maple body with alder center-block, a bound rosewood fingerboard with white pearloid block inlays, bound F-holes, 2 Fideli-Tron humbucking pickups, and 3-way switching. This one, in 3-color sunburst, with a bound rosewood fingerboard, is in near-mint condition, with no dings or scratches. It does not have a case. (picture - 2)

1967 Le Baye 2 x 4 at Pittsburgh Guitars 1967 Le Baye 2x4
One of only 45 made, this guitar is all original, with the exception of the neck pickup which was rewound by Tom Brantley. The 2x4 is "famous" for having been used by Tommy James & The Shondells (for about 15 minutes), and it features 2 single coil pickups with a 3-way selector switch, and a rosewood fingerboard with pearl inlays. This one is red, and in excellent overall condition, with some lacquer chips on the front, sides, and back. Price includes original hard case. (picture - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5)

Hand crafted in the USA! Gold flake finish on a poplar body, with rosewood fingerboard. It has a Jason Lollar JM pickup in the bridge, and a Danelectro lipstick pickup in the neck, with a 3-way switch. It's in excellent overall condition, with a couple small dings on one edge. A faithful recreation the `60s guitar made popular by George Harrison. This thinline hollow body features Hilo'Tron pickups, a "rocking" bar bridge, a Gretsch by Bigsby B6C vibrato tailpiece, and simulated f-holes, with a Deep Burgundy Stain finish. Fireglo finish and made in the USA. Features include a solid maple cutaway body in Rickenbacker's famous "Cresting Wave" shape, a bound rosewood fingerboard with triangular pearloid inlay markers, 2 Rickenbacker high gain pickups, and stereo output. It's in excellent overall condition, with a couple finish chips, pictured, and several dings on the front and back, which do not show up in the photos. Price includes original hard case. Manufactured in Japan between 1967 and 1972, the SA-30T is a semi-hollow body, double cutaway guitar that features set neck construction, with 2 pickups, 3-way switching, and three knobs -- Volume, Tone, and Balancer. This one is in very clean condition for its age, with some small dings and chips in the finish, and a couple larger scrapes. It has lots of playwear around the edges of the neck, and is missing the pickguard.
From a 1968 Yamaha catalog: "A truly outstanding thin body acoustic electric guitar for the modern guitarist. The versatile tone quality of this instrument produces greater variations than every before offered in any instrument in its price range. You must experience the all new mike balancer that allows you to select the tonal effects you wish. The thin, fast action neck is fully adjustable to meet the guitarist's individual action requirements....The 'feather touch' tremolo arm is newly designed to insure return to accurate pitch..."

From the Baldwin 700 Series, we bring you a Model 706V, made between 1967 and 1970. This one features a sunburst finish on a semi-hollow body with center block, two pickups, and a Bigsby-style Burns tailpiece. It's in very good condition cosmetically, with some deep finish checks, a repaired crack at the f-hole, and some minor dings and scratches. Price includes non-original chipboard case. Black finish and in excellent-plus condition, with no dings or chips, and no visible playwear. Features include a solid basswood body with set maple neck, 22-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot markers, and two Vintage EW P-90 pickups with 3-way switching. It does not have a case. (picture - 2)

Key to Descriptions

Before we sell any used instrument, we send it through our repair shop for a complete set up. But because they're used, we've worked out the following descriptions to let you know how used they are. We'll be happy to give you more information via phone or email.

Mint Condition--like new, no wear
Excellent condition
--some play wear, maybe some small dings or light surface scratches
Very good condition
--a few scratches, some dings and/or lacquer chips, but structurally sound, normal play wear
Good condition--structurally sound, has been played a lot, some repairs or cosmetic flaws possible
Fair condition--a well-loved guitar, may have some problems, but we'll describe them as accurately as possible
