Just wanted to let you know I got the Hofner 500/1 today. What a beautiful sounding bass!!! (Yes, it's also physically attractive.) I'm really a guitar player, but I do have a couple of basses I get out from time to time (a Fender Custom Shop '55 Precision Bass Relic and a Music Man Stingray). The Hofner -- being hollow -- is so woody sounding. I can't quite get that sound with my P Bass, even though it's got flatwounds on it as well.

UPS delivered the guitar a little after 5 I have been playing it ever since I unpacked it!! I Love it, I love the ebony neck on it...

I'm not doing a thing to it , only playing it and changing the strings when they need it!!

I visited Pittsburgh Guitars with three of my friends a week ago . . . My friends were visiting from the Czech Republic. Vlada is a musician and has a band in his country...quite popular in the Czech Republic! I on the contrary am not a musician and so I went on line to try and find a shop to take him to visit. Your web site came up and proved to be the most navigable and friendly!

We found the shop and some easy parking and quickly met Sam and another fellow . . . who were extremely helpful and kind and made our experience an absolute delight!

My friends continued to comment long after our departure that the guys at Pittsburgh Guitars were great!

Just want to let you all know that the Martin I had built through Pittsburgh Guitars and Martin far exceeds any expectations I had envisioned. It's unbelievable, both in sound and easy of playing. It has volume, quality of sound and inner harmonics I have never heard in my playing , the fingering more is like an electric guitar...unimaginable...

I've been meaning to tell you, I think Betsy does a great job with the Web site. I can't get into the shop these days as much as I would like to, so I hit the Web site. The last three guitars I've bought from you all came off the Web site --'88 Jerry Donahue Tele, 90s Gibson Chet Atkins, and G&L jazz bass. Another thing: all three of these guitars were set up so welll by Scott that they are getting an unfair amount of playing time. My Martins are jealous. One more thing: looking over the last 30 years of working with you, I didn't think you would ever find another person who would fit into the fabric of the shop the way you, Scott, Mark and Betsy have. But you did with John. He's great. Congratulations on 30 years of business.

just wanted to say thanks yet again for holding the jaguar, sounds absolutely amazing. whether it's just straight into my little blues junior, or blaring through an ampeg v4 with a crowther hotcake, it just breathes like nothing i've ever played before. usually with a new guitar it takes me a couple weeks to really warm up to it, but not so with the jaguar. instant gratification, i couldn't be happier!

 I just wanted to let you know that the American Telecaster I ordered on Tuesday night was delivered yesterday. I wanted to thank you and your staff for the great job done in handling my order and getting it out so quickly. I don't normally buy guitars that I can't lay my hands on first, but am glad that I did this time. I am very critical about the neck and fret work and can say that this tele is among the very best production guitars I've gotten my hands on in my 20+ years of playing. I put on a new set of strings and dialed in the action to my preference and it felt just like an old friend. You guys are top notch and make me wish we had a Pittsburgh Guitars in Delaware that I could shop at. I also appreciate the extra polishing cloth, key ring and the picks with the faces are a hoot!

My Squire Black n Chrome Tele arrived today and it is ba11s to the wall!! This baby sounds AMAZING and looks cool as he11!!

Got the Strat home and just love it. The bass is nice too. I'm much more of a bass rookie but I can tell it's a fine instrument and I know it will be lots of fun and is definitely a keeper. Thanks for putting the deal together.

I received my Hofner Club CT Series. It arrived in pristine condition and I must say I like it a lot. I thank you for going the extra mile and checking out the delay at the Post Office. The inclusion of the Hofner teacup knobs was an added plus. A competitor of yours charges 42 bucks to put them on. All I can say is THANK YOU. You will be hearing from me again.
